One Minute List 26 regional cookbooks

Here are a bunch of cookbooks showing how to make the cuisines of various regions of the world.  Personally, I think some cuisines are more distinct than others, and that some regional cuisines are less “regional cuisine” and more “local ingredients used in fancy restaurants.”  For example – hazelnuts.  I live in the northwest, but i don’t often eat or cook with hazelnuts, yet they seem to be integral to the perception of Northwest cuisine in Northwest cookbooks.  What do you think?  You can see the books in this list at Worldcat, and find out if your library owns a copy:
